Originated from the Wuhan city of China, the corona virus has now been a pandemic and spread all over the world. No vaccination or medicine of any kind have been made so far that can successfully cure the disease. 

Currently, there are 32,678 reports of corona virus cases in Nepal, 157 people have already died due to the virus. 18,806 people have successfully recovered from the disease so far.

Still there are 13,715 active cases of corona virus in Nepal. 9,154 people have been isolated in different hospitals across Nepal. Also, 4,561 people are under home isolation. Of the hospitalized ones, 15 people are on ventilators and 138 people are in the intensive care units.

So far, the virus has spread across all the 77 districts of Nepal. Morang, Kathmandu, Parsa, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Bara and Mahottari are among the worst hit as all these districts have more than 500 active cases each. Mustang and Humla are the only two districts that do not have any active cases at this period of time.

On Monday, at such a bad period of time, a person infected from corona virus has ran away from the isolation centre in Khajura of Banke. This has scared the people in the surrounding areas as the virus is very easily transmitted.

The infected one had been sent to the isolation center of Agricultural Training Center situated in Khajura by the District Police Office 4 days after he contracted the virus. He was arrested by the police recently for smuggling drugs.

Sp Om Bahadur Rana, the DPO chief has said that a team has been mobilized by the police for searching the person that ran away from the quarantine center. Additionally, a investigation has been launched against the police personnel that was guarding the isolation center in Khajura.
