AFRICAN-AMERICAN POLITAL LEADER: BARACK OBAMA

African-American political leader and 44th president of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama was born on 4th August 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. It’s not easy to become a president of the US with an African background but Obama makes it ensue. Obama father was from Kenya and mother from Kansas, USA. When he was two years old, his parents divorced.

Obama got graduated from Columbia University in 1983. Then he started working on laws firm in Chicago. He worked as a community organizer too. He became a civil rights attorney and a professor teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago law school from 1992 to 2004.after working on the field of civil rights and laws he turned himself as a political person. He received first national attention in 2004 with his unexpected March primary win, his well-received July democratic national convention keynote address and his landslide November election to the senate. He was previously the United States senator from Illinois and also a member of the Illinois State senate. In 2008, he was nominated for the presidential election from the Democratic side after a close primary campaign against Hillary Clinton and he was elected as 44th president of US over Republican candidate John McCain and he was inaugurated on Jan 20, 2009.

 He was the first African American to serve as a president so it was the biggest highlights for America itself and the whole world. After the historical journey to the white house, he was also awarded by Nobel peace prize in 2009 for his works on human rights and his thought. After the historical first inning at the white house, he was re-elected as president of the US. On November 6, Barack Obama won the election for the second time after defeating Republican opponent Mitt Romney.

His two innings as president of the US were considered as successful by American citizens and other worlds too. His periods are famous for the death of famous al-Queda leader Osama bin laden, Iran nuclear deal, chemical attacks in Syria, ISIS airstrikes, diplomatic relations with Cuba and many other deals and laws in the favor of America and some in the favor of humanity and global peace. He was famous all over the world during his time and also considered as the most influential person in the world. After successful two presidential innings, he left White House along with his wife Michelle Obama and two daughters before the presidential election of 2016 by saying, “My fellow Americans, it’s has been the honor of my life to serve you.”

A very humble person, Mr. Obama back to his normal life after his historical times at White house and moved to a home in Kalorama. He again starts working as a normal citizen. His normal life before and after being president is an inspiration for all the leaders and political people all over the world.
